Cairo, 26 February 2025- EVA Pharma, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Egypt and the Middle East, and Alameda Healthcare Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two parties in the fields of therapeutic sustainability and medical education. This initiative reflects both parties' commitment to improving the quality of healthcare in Egypt.

The MoU aims to establish a strategic collaboration between EVA Pharma and Alameda Group to achieve sustainability in the availability of essential treatments, as well as to organize medical, educational, and scientific programs for medical staff, with a focus on the proper use of antibiotics and antifungals.

Dr. Abram Wagih, Egypt Cluster Head in EVA Pharma , stated, "The collaboration we are witnessing today represents a new step towards bridging the gap between the medical community and the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector in Egypt, as we work towards a shared goal of enhancing public health."

In his press remarks, Dr. Abram Wagih added that the collaboration will also include patient awareness campaigns. EVA Pharma will sponsor awareness campaigns through Alameda's platforms to increase awareness about the safe and effective use of antibiotics and antifungals, thereby contributing to improved public health. He also emphasized the company's commitment to providing the latest recommendations, guidelines, and treatment protocols to doctors and medical staff at Alameda.

In this context, Mr Neeraj Mishra, CEO of Alameda Healthcare Group, affirmed the strategic significance of signing the (MoU) with EVA Pharma. He emphasized Alameda’s commitment, under this agreement, to providing high-quality healthcare services, forming a joint task force comprising representatives from both parties to oversee the implementation of agreed-upon activities, and holding regular meetings to establish execution plans.

Mishra further highlighted that the MoU sets a strategic framework for a collaborative partnership aimed at enhancing healthcare quality in Egypt. This will be achieved through continuous medical education, patient awareness initiatives, and the application of the latest medical guidelines.
