The launch of Mounjaro® KwikPen TM marks a new milestone in the treatment of obesity and Type 2 diabetes in Egypt  

Cairo, Egypt – 30 July 2025 – EVA Group announced the launch of Mounjaro® (tirzepatide) KwikPen TM in Egypt, a medicine that has been developed and is manufactured by Eli Lilly and Company (Lilly) globally. This launch comes following a recent agreement between EVA Group & Lilly for importing, distributing and promoting Mounjaro® in Egypt to ensure patients across Egypt have access to this life-changing innovation for obesity and type-2 diabetes as approved by the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA). 

 
Eli Lilly and Company developed and manufactures Mounjaro (tirzepatide) globally. In Egypt, the marketing authorization holder and distributor of Mounjaro is EVA Group.

Earlier in 2025, EVA Pharma announced the availability of Lilly’s Mounjaro vials in the Egyptian market; and now, Mounjaro KwikPen‒pre-filled injection is launched for Egyptian patients, marking a new level of ease and accessibility for patients requiring regular administration of Mounjaro as advised by Healthcare Professionals.
